About

Welcome! I’m Winny, the creator of Winny Hayes and a home cook who loves sharing simple, flavorful recipes for everyday meals. I’m a wife and mom to two energetic boys, and this space is where I share simple, flavorful recipes designed for busy households. I first began sharing recipes on social media, where I’ve built a large community of home cooks who enjoy approachable, delicious meals.

I was raised in Atlanta, GA, where I still live today. Growing up in the South in an Asian household shaped the way I cook. My kitchen naturally blends different cultures and flavors – from Southern comfort food to Asian-inspired dishes and everyday meals that are practical for real life.

As a busy mom, I believe cooking at home should feel approachable, affordable, and enjoyable – not overwhelming. Many of the recipes you’ll find here use simple ingredients you can easily find at your local grocery store, making it easier to put delicious meals on the table.

What You’ll Find Here

On this blog, you’ll discover recipes that focus on:

  • Easy weeknight dinners
  • Budget-friendly meals
  • Comfort food with bold flavors
  • Family-friendly dishes
  • Kids school lunchbox ideas

Many of my recipes are inspired by the foods I cook for my own family, combining the flavors I grew up with and the meals that work best for busy weeknights.

Why I Started This Blog

I started sharing recipes online through social media, where I’ve been fortunate to build a large community of people who enjoy simple, flavorful home cooking. Over time, I realized that a blog would allow me to organize my recipes in one place and make them easier for readers to find, save, and cook from.

This blog gives me the space to share recipes in more detail, including step-by-step instructions, helpful tips, and serving ideas. My goal is to create a reliable collection of recipes that home cooks can come back to whenever they need inspiration for everyday meals.

Whether you’re looking for a quick weeknight dinner or something new to try, I hope these recipes help make cooking at home easier and more enjoyable.

With love from my kitchen,
